 Healthy Breakfast Ideas
By: Grecia
Many people skip breakfast because they believe they will eat less throughout the day, and lose weight. That is absolutely one of the worst things someone can do. Here are some delicious breakfasts you can make at home and trust me they are super healthy. Enjoy!
Home Made Smoothies - I make these every morning so I don’t really have names for them, I basically put heaps of healthy delicious foods I find in my pantry and fridge.
1st recipe
Ingredients:
2 tbsp of chai seeds
1 cup of almond milk
1 cup of triple berry blend
2 tbsp of granola
2nd recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of kale
1 cup of almond milk
1 cup of triple berry blend
1 tbsp of cinnamon
4 tbsp of coconut sweetened fancy shred
Buckwheat Pancakes - I could literally have these everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They fill you up and they are simply so delicious!  I will also add a homemade syrup recipe that tastes delicious on top of your pancakes!
*Makes 6-8 pancakes!*
{for the batter you will need}
3/4 cup of buckwheat pancake mix
1/2 cup of almond milk
1 egg
1 tbsp of oil
1/2 cup of blueberries or more, how many ever you like eating on your pancake!
Directions: Preheat griddle to 360°F, and then place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until blended. Let it stand for 5 min. You are reading to cook your delicious pancakes! Make sure that when you see bubbles forming at the edges it is time to flip your pancake.
{for the syrup you will need}
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of strawberries
Directions: Cut the strawberries then put both the sugar and the strawberries in a pot and let it boil for 6 min. Drizzle on your pancakes!
{for an extra sweet taste cut a banana and spread across your pancakes}
Bread Spread - If you are running late, this is the perfect go - to breakfast. Grab two slices of whole wheat bread, cut an avocado in half and spread it on them.
Another delicious thing you can spread on your bread slices is almond butter, which is very similar to peanut butter. Add some pieces of banana on top and the taste is insanely good. Finish it off with a cup of green tea and your morning couldn’t get any better.
Hope you guys liked these recipes! I eat all of these delicious treats throughout the week and I couldn’t enjoy them more.
